T. Brent McCune is an experienced litigator with more than 36 years of trial experience and over 38 years working in criminal justice. While attending law school, he served as a full time paralegal in the United States Attorney’s office preparing appellate briefs to the Third Circuit in primarily criminal cases. After completing a judicial clerkship in the Superior Court of Pennsylvania which was also criminal justice intensive, McCune served as a prosecutor in the District Attorney’s office for 20 years under two administrations. As a Senior Assistant District Attorney, he handled numerous serious cases while supervising up to 18 attorneys in the General Trial Unit.
In 2006, McCune became of Counsel to the Law Firm of Attorney James Ecker, where he performed consulting services to one of Pittsburgh’s most high profile defense attorneys. During this time period, he also represented individuals charged with virtually every type of crime at every stage of the trial process. In addition to his own expertise, T. Brent McCune has developed a network of practitioners, experts and investigators that can address almost any criminal justice problem.
